A renowned composer of soundtracks, a versatile musician, experimental guitarist and producer from Chicago, as well as the man behind his own label (Alphabasic Records), Benn Jordan has been producing music under the name of The Flashbulb for several years, in a project featuring cinematic post-rock, melodic beats and processed polyrhythms. On this occasion, Jordan once again hooks up with the New Millennium Orchestra - a classically trained outfit with a clearly contemporary outlook - with which he already shared a stage in 2009 at the inauguration of the Pritzker Pavillion, designed by Frank Gehry in the city's Millennium Park. It is a meeting of the different sonic languages that are part of Chicago's musical life, which has so far provided very good results.
